Band Bio:
F.U.C.T. was formed in July 1986 by Guitarists Dirt Ditchfield
and Brooks Phillips. They found a drummer , Heath Willis,
through an advertisement in a local club's paper. Clay
Brocker came in as the Singer and Dirt switched from
Guitar to Bass with this line-up they played their first show.
Heath quit and was replaced by Patrick Caldwell after Clay
and Dirt saw him playing one night at a friends house
through the window.
F.U.C.T. recorded their first album "Into the Aggro" in 1987
and second album "Within" in 1988. A Nashville label
signed F.U.C.T. in 1989 and they recorded "Green" in 1989
and their debut album "Dimensional Depth Perception"
in 1990.
F.U.C.T. broke apart in 1991 and went in different directions.
During this time, all the members played together in several
different bands, but not all four together. Brookes passed on
in 2001 leaving the experience incomplete.
October 2006 saw the "reanimation" of F.U.C.T. as Clay and
Dirt were brought together by current Drummer, Jerry
Gamble at the annual Melvins show at the Exit/Inn. Unable
to find a guitarist, Dirt once again played Guitar while also
handling the Bass. A new recording was produced "Return"
in 2007, and a few shows were played as this new "three
piece".
In June , 2007, Jason Creasey was brought in on Guitar and
Dirt switched once again to Bass. A new album "Retain To
The Aggro" is in the works for the band as well as the
re-release of "Into The Aggro" on SPAT! records.
"T" shirts are also available.
