Named one of the “12 Bands to Look Out for in 2008†by Denver’s alternative weekly newspaper, Westword, b.sous finds some of the brightest stars in Denver’s scene and brings them to the stage in a full-on flash of cuteness and home-made sounds.Made up of Brandi Shigley, a well-known entrepreneur, fashionista, and girl-about-town, along with long-recognized musical scene-makers Jon DeStefano (Hate F*ck Trio), and Brian Hendrick (Separate Cars, Blast Off Heads). Daren Hahn (a long-time drummer for Ani diFranco) drums for b.sous. b.sous brings an original and fun, funky sounds to Denver stages and beyond!Friends since the late 20th century, Brandi originally served as merchandise girl, selling t-shirts and touring with Denver’s popular punk band, Hate F*ck Trio. Jon, Brian, and Brandi remain great friends over the past decade and decided to create their own musical project together.Creating tunes on a trusty Casio keyboard and 8-track by Brandi, the boys bring their years of musical experience to support her quirky and catchy songs.
