About Me

Check out www.JasonMcEntire.com
I record, produce, engineer, mix, & help make music for a living... a full-time profession & labor of love. It's all I've done since I was a teen. I like exploring things... falling upon ideas... and perhaps eventually, justifying the end by them. I enjoy pushing buttons to get what I want. I like to take my time but I can get great results fast. I work great with people and can just as easily be a part of the group or be the skipper and take charge.
I work out of a cool studio in St. Louis called Sawhorse http://myspace.com/sawhorsestudio. Actually it's 2 studios. It's a really cool place, great vibe. Large rooms in which to make fun noises. A big, comfy control room. Totally pro. Cool, creative gear. Just a really fun & productive, laid-back environment for getting great results.
I have recorded & worked with artists like: Ludo (Island/Def Jam), Ha Ha Tonka/Amsterband/Ha Ha Tonka (Bloodshot), So They Say (Fearless Records), Flee the Seen (Facedown Records), Colony (MCA), Destiny's Child (yes, those girls on Columbia Records), Son Volt/Jay Farrar, Geezer Butler (GZR), Erin Bode (Maxx Jazz), Javier Mendoza.
I have as many hours on pro tools as I do tape... & that's a lot. I am just as comfortable with a razor blade and tape as I am with edits in the digital world.
I've been around the block a few times... touring quite a bit... hell, I've probably been around your block!
I ran the 100 yard dash in 10.9 seconds... when I was 16.
You can usually track me down at Sawhorse Studio: 314-353-3280
I edited my profile with Thomas’ Myspace Editor V3.6 !
