About Me

Although I fancy myself as a well-rounded individual with a myriad of interesting interests, my life's passion is making music. After making my own records and playing hundreds of live shows, I arrived at the conclusion that I'm most comfortable in the studio -- which as anyone that knows me will tell you, is the one place you can always find me. I have made lots of records - and have lots and lots of toys that assist me to that end - you can see some of the stuff I have over to the left. In that I play just about everything, I have worked with lots of people in varying capacities - Following is a partial list which is ever growing: Grammy Award winning singer-songwriter Bonnie Raitt, Jay Farrar, Son Volt, Brandy Johnson, R. Scott Bryan [Sheryl Crow], Jeff Coffin [Bela Fleck and The Flecktones], John Agnello, Missile Silo Suite, Chris Walters [Barbara Mandrell], Brian Owens, Kevin Bilchik, Javier Mendoza, Amy Petty, Leslie Sanazaro, Peter Mayer, Liz Golden and Erin Bode.
Beyond prolific work with St. Louis best singer-songwriters as engineer, multi-instrumentalist and producer, I have worked as engineer and mixer for Brothers Lazaroff, Bitchslap Barbie, The Hailmary's, Commander Cody, Bockmans Euphio, Mama Rogers, Black Spade, Mark Deutsch, Emrat Kahn, Coultrain, Ring, Cicada, Nat Foster and Mr. Fingazz. Other affiliations include Crossings Concerts, President Casino, Music for Lifelong Achievement, The Sheldon Arts Foundation, Recca Sto Records, Red Pill Entertainment, Elsivier and Anhueser Busch.
Red Pill, St. Louis's Indie Record Label dedicated to the nurturing and cultivation of
singer/songwriters, presents a Songwriters-In-The-Round concert celebrating the music of their emerging artists
Kevin Bilchik, R. Scott Bryan, Javier Mendoza and Amy Petty on Wednesday, June 10, 2009 at 7:30 p.m. at The Sheldon in St. Louis. Tickets are priced at $10.00 and will be available electronically by clicking the ticket above or at the door beginning at 7p.m. This Red Pill line up promises to introduce audiences to well crafted songwriting in the tradition of icons such as James Taylor, Joni Mitchell, John Hiatt, Elvis Costello, Sarah McLachlan and John Mayer.
