I'd like to meet:

ATTENTION MILF-HUNTERS: Thanks so much for believing that I'm fuck-worthy. But I am not fuck-available, virtually or otherwise, so please don't ask!!! And if you're under 18 and you email me I will report you! I am not a pedophile - sorry!I am, however, up for good conversation, supportive friendships, goofiness, weirdness - whatever... just NO FUCKING!! k? thanks

Music:

Anything that doesn't suck, from alternative rock to classical. Not much into country, but appreciate anyone with a good sound and lyrics. Sometimes 80s pop makes me want to bang my head on a wall, tho. In my CD player now: Incubus, Alanis Morrissette, KD Lang, Peter Gabriel, Paul Simon, CSN&Y, Nirvana, Flaming Lips, Coldplay, NIN, Radiohead, Poe, A Perfect Circle, Bjork, Fiona Apple...
Here's a song from my chorale's 2006 Christmas concert. Yeah, it's not exactly seasonal, and the irony of posting a religious tune is not lost on me, but I think we sound pretty good for a community chorus. I'm one of those squeaking out the high notes!

Movies:

LOTR, Favorite movie seen recently - "Kill Bill" - Vol. 1 especially! Loved the original Matrix, laughed thru the 2nd one. Thought "Secretary" was interesting. Bubba Ho-Tep defies description. Even liked "Dude, Where's My Car." Worst movie seen recently (well, the first 10 minutes, anyway) - "Charlie's Angels, Full Throttle" (I'd like to throttle the scriptwriter) Recent additions: Garden State, The Incredibles, Sideways, Pirates of the Caribbean - and I'm so very glad that Sith didn't suck!!

Television:

OK - I admit it... addicted to Survivor. But my fave is 6 Feet Under. Frequent surfing stops: Queer Eye for the Straight Guy, Star Trek reruns, Antiques Roadshow (don't ask me why), Will & Grace... huh - looks like I have a thing for gay guys... lol

Books:

Mostly good fiction, from fantasy (read all the Harry Potter books), horror (read most Steven King books) to historical fiction. Um - good books I've read recently - "The Golden Compass" (thanks E!) "She's Come Undone" "Cold Mountain" For some reason one of my favorite books of all time is "Pillars of the Earth." Other freq. read authors - Anne Tyler, Anne Rice, Tolkein, Clive Barker... *New addition!* Nick Hornby makes me laugh out loud...

Heroes:

My friends rock and my husband amazes me...
