About Me

The Above Blogs Are Confident & Insightful She has a ton of brain power, and occassionally it gets leveraged into brilliant blog. Both creative and (usually)logical, she comes up with amazing ideas and insights. A selective perfectionist, she will revise and rewrite posts a lot of the time. So you should check them out, and leave a comment on them. She blogs for herself - and doesn't care how popular (or unpopular) her blog is! Her Blogs Should Be Purple She is an expressive, offbeat blogger who tends to write about anything and everything. She tends to set blogging trends, and is likely to post an occasional meme or survey. Her blog is generally about her life or things that she finds interesting - she rarely cares what anyone else has to say about her, but she is still curious about what people have to say.
I love doing voiceovers / voicework and production, it is a blast and I hope that I can continue doing this for a long time to come. To hear some samples of my work click HERE

Her Linguistic Profile:

80% General American English
10% Yankee
5% Upper Midwestern
5% Dixie
0% Midwestern What Kind of American English Do You Speak?
Lately I have been keeping busy doing freelance voice work. Here are a couple of the projects I am involved in:
(The new show begins in Florida, early 2008)My last production job was a temp gig for whodaguyhawaii.com

and before that: Visionary Related Entertainments stations 93.1, 94.7, 102.7, 105.9 in Honolulu. Other important things in my life: I am a co-leader of Junior Girl Scout troop 360
and
Cub Scouts Public Relations (for our lil area)
I was back in college after too many years away from school, and I admit, I missed it, but I also relished SUMMER VACATION... so much so that I was too late to register for the fall term, and am now waiting to apply for my grant so that I can resume my studies.
I love to laugh... laugh easily, freely, and at a hearty volume... even if it is at something stupid. I sing in my car, with the windows down, and appreciate the applause. I don't require constant supervision, I just like the company. I require spell check, and freely spell incorrectly without care of correction... thank you. I am stubborn and may argue for seemingly no reason. I hate being rushed by others when I am getting ready, this will only slow things down. I am very much a gurl and yet hang out n keep up with the boys. I dance often, but rarely in public. I regularly forget how old I am, admittingly have had to actually do the math and at times still may not act my age... whatever it is. I may be dumb, but I am not stupid. I am terrible at remembering names... it is nothing personal... it is a side effect to my teenage bout with head-up-ass syndrome. I tend to surprize others. I can be flawlessly lazy, and obsessively creative. I think that ordering dessert first should be done once in a while. I am more of a closet romantic, and feel that the easy romantic gesture is cheap. I believe sexy underwear should not be reserved for special occasions. One of the sweetest things is sacrificing your body to warm my toes. I require cuddling daily, and think huggs should be free. I really DO NOT like surprises, but enjoy being pleasently surprised by the random. I reserve my powers of "bitch" for good. I am prejudice against stupid people of all creeds, colors, sexual preferences, countries, religions, and political affiliations. I don't generally break rules, but have been known to bend them for good (ethically sound) reason. I will keep a secret... yours or mine. And guess what... chicken butt.
You Are 68% Lady
Overall, you are a refined lady with excellent manners.
But you also know when to relax and not get too serious about etiquette Are You A Lady?

Her Dominant Thinking Style:

Exploring
She thrives on the unknown and unpredictable. Novelty is her middle name. She tends to challenge common assumptions and beliefs. An expert inventor and problem solver, she approaches things from new angles. She shows people how to question their models of the world. (Not ALWAYS, sometimes I just make people question what I am up to)

Her Secondary Thinking Style:

Visioning
She is very insightful and tends to make decisions based on her insights. She focuses on how things should be. An idealist, thinking of the future helps her to guide your path. (ok that part isn't completely accurate)Surprisingly she tends to give others long-term direction and momentum.(Do I REALLY do that?) What's Your Thinking Style?Something you will not hear me seriously say:

My Interests

. My son n daughter (family), friends, music, movies, laughter, good conversation, beauty, photography / art. Must -haves in my life: family/friends, chapstick, caffiene, my cel phone (MP3's loaded), net access, my ipod, a good selection (by good I also mean large) of DVD's (this comes with the assumption package of DVDplayer, HD 52inch tv, surround sound, comfy couch, cozy blanket and kids to cuddle with for select features) There are lots of things spark my curiosity, but that's not quite the same thing as "Interests"... take Quantum Physics Theory for example... I was interested in that for a bit because it sparked my curiosity. I researched it, surprisingly came up with a theory. So it is the seemingly random things that grab my interest sometimes. So... if you want to know what interests me or what sparks my curiosity, ask, but don't ask if you don't want to know. And remember... pillage BEFORE you burn.

I'd like to meet:

Eddie Izzard first and foremost. (hey great minds are born on the same day) I have actually already gotten his autograph and spoken to him for a few minutes while doing so, but it wasn't really "meeting" him. I would like to meet a handful of talented musicians/ writers/ composers/ comedians... I love the creative energy. When I think of those I would like to "meet" I am more thinking along the lines of people who I would like to spend some real time with, possibly pick their brains, or just have a little bit of more one-on-one type of time with. So I think the people below is more a list of people I would like to hang out with for a day or something: Heather Graham, Jeff Davis, Gerard Butler, Robin Williams... .... .... .... to be continued, edited or pic posted. Oh, and just because YOUR picture isn't on there doesn't mean I don't want to meet you, it just means I don't have your picture up. :) I am also online at Join Me!

Music:

I love and have a passion for pretty much ALL types of music. Lately I have been playin the crap out of Rock Band on the 360.

Books:

I am currently only really reading copy or childerens books to my... you guessed it... kids. Traditional "books" don't do much for me unless it has photography in it. I am not saying that I like picture books, I am saying I like books with photographic art. Oddly enough, I do collect old books of certain topics and I don't really read those either, I just like having them. The exception to the, "not much of a reader" rule is: poetry books, "Walden" which I have attempted to read 3 times now- never getting past page 46 due to lifes little inturruptions, "Lies my Teacher Told Me" which I loaned out and have yet to get back.
A couple favorites are: •"Hypochondriacs Guide to Life & Death" • "Hope for the Flowers" • "Harvest Home" • "No David!"
Who Should Paint You: M.C. Escher
Open and raw, you would let your true self show for your portrait.
And even if your painting turned out a bit dark, it would be honest. What Artist Should Paint Your Portrait?
You Are 50% Weird
You have a few little quirks, but you generally blend in well with society.
Only those who know you well know how weird you can be. Normal enough to know that you're weird... But too damn weird to do anything about it! How Weird Are You?
You Should Be a Musician
You have a rare combinations of talents: an ear for music, nimble fingers, and the willpower to practice.
You could master almost any instrument you choose to play (if you haven't already!)---yes I can read music and play What Sort of Artist Should You Be?

Heroes:

Men n Women in the military. (past and present)
Those who volunteer in the community.
My parents and members of my family.
