I'm a right-brained street musician with a serious day job, trying to live life with my eyes, mind and heart wide open without checking my moral compass at the door. I am fortunate enough to be sharing a home with the love of my life, my wife Kym, a beautiful body and soul and 24-year cancer survivor who is as passionate about transforming the lives of people (including her family and herself) through nutrition and fitness as I am about transforming healthcare through information technology and continuous process improvement.Professionally, I work for a global consulting firm as their Director of Health Information Convergence. Educationally, I have a degree in political science, a masters in health administration, a doctorate in medicine, trained in obstetrics and gynecology, and completed a fellowship in medical informatics.As a singer/songwriter, I've performed in clubs and street corners from Juno to Nice, but mostly in Boston during my fellowship days. Now I'm lucky to do two or three shows a year, but I just can't quite shake the desire to write and share music (www.rossmartinmd.com).
