I've been around a drum set since childhood.(pic included) A 1964, 4 piece Ludwig set. I still play this set almost everyday. In 1992 I got a Ludwig Classic 9 piece. 10", 12",13",14",16",18", 2x 24" kicks, 6 1/2" x 14" snare, gibralter curved rack, stained finish-charcoal grey. This set maybe up for sale or a good trade. Respectfully, I have been given the gift of flow and adaption. This has afforded me the opportunity to play different styles with a variety of bands. I grew up in Omaha, Ne. At the age of 14, I played in my first band(classic rock and a couple of covers). Later "Nasferatu", a metal band, and the start of playing double bass. At the age of 20 I took an offer to move to Minneapolis, Mn to play with a band called "Disturbed". While there, I also did 2 demos with "Anal Blast"(grindcore), and another band called "(SIC)". This group gave me a new understanding of my drumset and writing music-metal with a jazz formula. At this point, I received offers to travel. In 95-96, I accepted the opportunity to play with "Kataklysm"- a metal band from Montreal, Canada, (on Nuclear Blast rec label). There we did smaller tours and a US tour, wrote a full length cd and recorded at Moran-Heights Studio in Canada, and also filmed a video. During this time is when and how I learned about contracts with bands and labels. Be aware- it also helps to speak their language. In 97-98, I moved back to Omaha and started to play punk, the fast version. In 99, I moved to Denver, Co and joined a band called "Fast Action Revolver", fast rythm with vocal melody. I also accepted an offer in California for 3 weeks of metal. After that "Black Lamb", a heavy rock'n blues band, and "Hobnail Stompers", a heavy and hard band. While in Denver, I've had the opportunity to play a gig with "Hillbilly Hellcats", a cool rockabilly band for wich I learned 50 songs in 2 days. In 04' I did a 3 week tour with the death metal band "Skinned" from Ft. Collins CO. In May of 05, I had a chance to play with my friends "The Filthy Few", a psycobilly band from Omaha, Ne. Lately I've been writing and playing with "ENLIL". Low, metal, latin esc...the list will grow.
