Leao Mango: músico y compositor de reggae,
creador y fundador de Mate Yerba y Leao Mango & Monte Zion.
su primer actuación en vivo fue a los 17 años junto a la banda Congo Bongo
para unas 500 personas(1998) como guitarrista y corista de la banda mateyerba (fusión reggae ska) ,
luego en el año 2001 crea la banda Leao Mango & Monte Zion (fundador, vocalista y compositor)
tocan con varias bandas de renombre como Abuela Coca, Congo Bongo,
Manos de Filippi entre otras; y en el homenaje a P. Tosh (Peter Tosh celebration tour).
Editan su primer disco (Leao Mango y Monte Zion) en el año 2005.
en el año 2006 desembocan en orillas argentinas, en su primer toque en buenos aires
junto a Riddim una de las bandas de reggae mas populares de Argentina,
tocan en el programa "la de dios" emitido por la rock and pop y en el festival buenas vibraciones junto a dj Nelson (con
el cual comparten escenario) y otras bandas mas, también en san miguel en estudio bar junto a saratustra.
graba de invitado con la banda Once Tiros en el disco "glamour y violencia". En el año 2007
sale un disco de versiones dub de "Leao Mango y Monte Zion" (primer y único CD dub del Uruguay) producido por DubRifles.
Ya a fines del 2007 decide separarse de la banda para crear su nuevo proyecto como solista.
A principios del 2008 graba el demo "llego Leao", comienza la gira por Brasil, Argentina, Chile y Uruguay,
toca en ciudades como Sao Paulo, Rió de Janeiro, Paraty, Buenos aires, rosario, Córdoba, Capilla del Monte,
Santiago de Chile, Viña del Mar y ValparaÃso.
Comparte escenario con artistas como: Alika (arg.), Paella Virgen (arg), Actitud Maria Marta (arg), MonikAmlak (Chile),
Jahbless (Chile), Estrella Negra (Chile) etc...
Luego de una gira que duro 2 meses aprox., haciendo unas 20 fechas en total; vuelve a Uruguay para
grabar su nuevo disco Llego Leao!!! Un gran futuro queda por delante... La historia continúa...Leao Mango: reggae musician and composer,
