About Me

28 years old, born of Jamaican and English parents, Queen Cee is the oldest of five siblings; a mother of 3 and wife. With her dad being a reggae DJ (King Attarney Soundcrew), music was always playing in her house growing up; seems she was destined to be in the music industry. She went from singing in church, to talent shows, to pageants. Then, R&B groups to background singing, to heading a funk a band, more background singing, to finally settling as a solo artist. Experiencing her share of trials and tribulations, swift changes in her life, while leaping over boundaries, Queen Cee's determination to succeed takes over. She's experienced everything from daily struggles and heartbreak to love and the joy of motherhood. Her perseverance and drive have proven to her and others that she is definitely good enough and strong enough to make it. She has a passion for music, along with a voice and positive energy that she wants to share with the world. She's been dubbed "the next urban icon" to be released in Canada. The smooth vocals that comes from this voice never ceases to capture audiences attention. Queen Cee packs powerful vocal appeal. Being crowned one of the top 3 finalists in Global's series, Popstars - The One, she has shown that the success was just one of the stepping stones in her 10 years of professional singing experience. Having an original song on Phem Phat Productions and Universal Music Canada's all female compilation entitled "Honey Drops", has helped this singer/songwriter/producer/actress get even more notoriety for her talents in her hometown of Hamilton (Steel City), as well as throughout parts of Canada. Landing the role of "Shenzi" the hyena in the Broadway Musical, The Lion King; placing fourth out of 50 artists in Toronto's urban radio station, FLOW 93.5's 2004 Urban FLOWcase, and has been featured as an up and coming artist on Much Music's special Superstar 101. Queen Cee is an artist who is definitely ready to reign on the music industry and let her voice be heard world wide!
