Their "in your face" performances have been described as raw, fearless, with heartfelt emotion and humor.SALON K was founded by Kristen Raj and mid-wived by Gabriel "Frontrow" Rowland in ths summer of 2005.THE K OF SALON K has been a professional entertainer since the age of 16. Turning professional as a ballerina she danced with The Lyric Opera of Chicago with such artist as Placido Domingo and Pavarotti, and has been a featured performer in numerous dance companies.Upon moving west she started to settle back into her musical roots. She than got a taste of the rock star lifestyle when she sang backing vocals and performed with the band BOOMKAT (Dreamworks Records) touring both nationally and internationally, including television appearances on Jay Leno, Craig Kilborn and Sharon Osbourne. She eats, breaths and lives art and music and also adds the role of Art Director to her roster.
FRONT ROW is an established Producer/Composer. Recently landing a song on the Hosoi Soundtrack (Tainted Love cover). The Soundtrack features platinum acts such as Gnarls Barkley and Queens of the Stone Age. He and his former band (The Peak Show) eventually signed with Atlantic Records and later found success with songs in TV/Film such as :(Malcolm in the Middle, Grind, Cinderella Story, Scary Movie 3, and Ice Age 2 movie/TV trailers CSI AND CSI MIAMI) among other radio, video game, and television spots.
