Flytrap is a cunning combination of soul, punk, old school rap, acid jazz and dirty funk drawn from the world of blaxploitation cinema, seventies films, porn and kung-fu movies. Since its inception in 2002, the eight piece groove machine has been playing to clubs and stages across Canada. Flytrap is the brainchild of the Fly (Marvin Kee), a multi-threat Calgary musician / songwriter / mystic. The debut album 'Original Motion Picture Soundtrack' wuz released in 2002 with Flood Records and his follow up album 'Revenge and the Urge to Fly' will be released in 2007.
