Hi, my name is Paul and I'm a DJ, electronic music producer and graphic designer and random devious hobbiest. I like to be spontaneous with my sets, music and life in general. Good times, good music, no time for negativity.
I have played live and DJed at a number of Montreal night spots including Korova, Blizzarts, Safir, The Green Room, Vinyl, The SAT, Kunta Lounge, Kola Note, Cafe Chaos and too many late night loft parties.
Hear me Saturdays at Divan Orange (4234 St-Laurent) I will be spinning before and after different bands every week, watch your bullitens for who's playing, they get some cool acts in.
Insomniak original productions combine cut up breakbeats, twisted analog synths and obscure found sounds. I've been creating electronic music for over ten years, ranging from industrial to live rave techno, drum and bass and all manner of breaks. My current sound digs deep for interesting spaces and progressions built on a solid breakbeat and bass foundation.
Other activities include photography, graphic design, ecole de francais, jamming on bass and constantly feeding and organizing my record collection.
