MR. WILDE project is born from the secret passion for the dance music of ENRICO VICINANZA, voice and image, and NINO VELOTTI, arranger, author and composer (actually he is giving himself to the italian author song). Grown in a family of musicians, ENRICO VICINANZA, has been studying singing from his earliest years. He is attending the Academy of Music in Salerno as tenor-countertenor. At the same time he often attends a lot of masters based on different tecniques of singing, such as soul, blues, gospel and jazz-scat. Above all he works in theatre as lirical singer specialized in baroque repertoire (Vivaldi, Pergolesi, Purcell) and actor playing important shows, particularly with Roberto De Simone. ENRICO and NINO were assisted by some musicians too such as ENEA ARMANO (co-author, guitar, bass and percussions). MR. WILDE music is a very interesting and fresh mixing of New Funk and Italo Disco, 80's electro-groove and black music. Both lyrics and musics try to mirror the multicolored young world through an ironic and glamour vision of life. They suggest as antidote to loneliness and frustration either a healthy walk at the station “waiting for an emotion†(NIGHT STATION) or a visit in a shop “watching happiness things†(WHEN I NEED)... And if someone realizes he is loving without being loved, if “you’ll find you will love me alone†(SOME SWEET DAY) you could always find relief invoking your DISCO MUSE... You will be astonished by hearing the versatile vocal attitude of ENRICO that could take to your mind the past and future dance music icons all at once...
