"UNTIE YOUR MIND"........

About Me

In 2001 the then three piece acoustic act played open mike as "Inflatable Milk." By the second set, supported by a little liquid courage, they transformed into Lactose Quervo. Accomplished guitarist, Sean Hanlon, who has played with the likes of BUZZY MEEKINS, (former bass player of MOLLY HATCHET, THE OUTLAWS, and THE DEREK TRUCKS BAND), was inspired by their experimental sound and energetic stage presence. After the addition of the Stratocaster, musical dynamite was created. Since 2001 the band has had a few transformations; with Brian switching from guitar to bass, the drummer from female to male, and the addition of Monique on alto and tenor sax. Led by Mo belting out powerful soul vocals like background singers of another era; they perform music with overtones of sadness and rage counterbalanced by hope. Songs inspired by abuse, abandonment, and moral confusion undergo chameleon transformation from heavy melodic rock to mind bending psychedelica. LACTOSE QUERVO is a highly creative original rock band that allows each member to draw from all their early influences and experiences to create a one-of-a-kind musical soup, and they have a great time doing it!
