"You're on the non-stop cross-country night train. The fortune teller's eyes warn that this could only end in tragedy, but you can't release yourself from the grips of the driving, churning, ever-forward rhythm long
enough to cash out, cop out, bail out onto the cold
desert floor. So you live it up, you take a spin, and
find yourself hoarse from joining in with the primal
punk devil-be-damned-if-he's-not-here-to-get-bloody
scream rushing at you from the stage.
Welcome to the Allied Threat experience.
It's the soul of Johnny Cash wrapped in an American
industrial punk rock straight jacket.
It's a train wreck horizon where the drunken switchman
lies on the tracks with a toothless smile and a
tattered book of poetry.
It can't end well, and it won't be pretty, but if you
came here thinking that the soul of rock and roll
circa 2007 ain't supposed to leave you feeling
ass-raped, bloody, and insane by the end of the night,
you should have stayed home with your remote control
and easy bake oven, because Allied Threat doesn't give
a fuck about your apathy."

"Volume 11 Tavern - 2/9/07 - Allied Threat
I walked through the door, and was immediately greeted by cheers. It was going to be a good night. It's nice to be surrounded by friends.
As always, Allied + Threat = Energy. If you multiply this by beer, you get what we call the "anti-scene." This is Subculture 101, my friends. Allied Threat is more than a band. They're an idea, a movement, an event, an episode. Your parents called it a "phase" when you were younger. Your parents were wrong. This is IT.
Allied Threat sounds like Johnny Cash, Nirvana, Weezer, and Social Distortion all sitting around, having a discussion about The Pixies. They've got a rock-grunge-psychobilly-fill-in-the-blank type of sound. You don't hear shit like this on the radio, and it's not likely you ever will. Allied Threat is not doing this for you. Allied Threat is doing this because this is what Allied Threat does.
Allied Threat is very existentialist. You should be so lucky."
