We are a Multi Disciplinary Music and Performing Arts Festival happening during the summer 2007 17th, 18th and 19th August
Ramada Art Festival invites you to join the Ramada family in August for 3 days of Music and Performance by the lake Dezcno, near Swiecie a 1000 year old town in the beautiful countryside of north Poland ... We are a completely Independent Festival. That means we have no sponsors. The philosophy is music, art, people and having a good time while raising money for a local charity.
You can expect some of the best dance music, rock and experimental live acts and bands from around the world in 3 different stages, we will have theatre performances, visuals, projected art and installations, live graffiti action, medieval games, archery workshops, tribal drummers, bonfires burning all night, open air cinema showcasing independent movies and much more.

We will also have an amazing Graffiti artist called "BUSK" from London, he has promised to do some live painting during the festival, so expect the unexpected….
We will have medieval games sword fighting and role-playing, the local culture council will also arrange archery workshops. So be ready to put on the hood and start firing some arrows…. We never now you migh have to rescue the princess or be the prince, its your choice and luck, so let’s see what YOU will be!!!
Local food stalls and traditional food will be available to make sure you never get hungry.
Drinks will be supplied by local distributors as you should know Polish beer is one of the best in Europe and also one of the cheapest…
We will have supervised bonfires burning throughout the night.

HOW TO GET THERE



The best way to get to the Ramada festival is to fly Ryan Air to Bydgoszcz and then take a bus to the small town of Swiecie (near Torun) from where you can, either catch a local bus (10 minutes) or walk the rest of the road and enjoy the beautiful Polish landscape. Alternatively, you can fly to Gdansk and from there you can take the train to Loskowice Pomorskie and the remaining 15 min you will have to travel by local buses to lake Deczno.
If you are not sure how to get to the festival site from where you are traveling from, please email us ASAP and we will help you find the easiest way and if you know a very good/cheap route then tell us so we can pass the message on.
