About Me

SpjRal <[i>'spi:rel] is a brandnew band from Napoli - Italy. The band is composed by Noemi (Drums), Dario (Bass), Gigi (Guitar) and Giancarlo (Voice). Too many years ago Gigi and Dario talked about to give rise a new rock band. They was university colleagues and they was young. Since the begin of the new millenium they loved to think about new projects to activate, but only few months ago they decided to form a band. Gigi called Marco M. to be the drummer, but after one month Marco was cut-off because his attitude to feel free from the will of the band. Gigi had to find a new drummer. He asked to Enzo (a perfect self-musician) to drum in the band, but that night he was occupied!!!
During the first month of trials, Noemi came some times to hear Marco, a Saturday morning it happened that Marco had trouble with the voiture. Noemi took the woodstick and gave a perfect stroke on the snare. They rest astonished by the clean of it. So, few times later since Marco abbandoned the band, Gigi asked to Noemi to play drums in the SpjRal once. After few trials and a lot of headache she decided to join them!!!
Why SpjRal??? The name was decided during a live that Noemi, Dario and Gigi went to see in Napoli. It appeared on a screen a Eustachio's tube superposed by a circulating acustic wave. They was captured!!! They was Hypnotized!!!
Now, SpjRal are creating their own sound at Crisma33, with the help of Enzo and Tommaso that recently join the band, stimulated to record the first EP... SpjRaljS
