I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

Hi there! I’m Sueane Browne. I’m an LA area native, born and raised. For those of you wondering about my ethnicity, I’m half Korean, and part African-American and French. It’s an odd mix, but that’s what I’m made of! Besides, I like being different. I was raised by my Korean family, who was a little on the weird side. I love them dearly, but we are totally different people and growing up was tough! I wouldn’t trade any of those tough times growing up, though, because they made me who I am today. I was very fortunate to have my beloved Nanny, Mary, at my side; she brought sunshine into an otherwise dark existence. She taught me to stand up for myself and love myself.
I’m here to make friends! It’s the beauty of Myspace, isn’t it? We can all be friends and never have to get out of our cozy chairs. Let’s not take life so seriously and enjoy ourselves!

My Interests

Thanks for stopping by my page. I appreciate you taking the time to get to know me better. I try my best to return messages, but with my schedule I can't always reply quickly. Please understand if I don't get back to you soon, I'm not trying to avoid you. :) If you just want to drop off something quick good or bad, then just leave a comment. I read those quicker! :)

I'd like to meet:

I've been lucky enough to meet a few of my favorite celebrities. The first time I met Snoop Dog, he had his body guards in tow; and I honestly thought that they were going to pick me up and toss me out of the way! However, I was pleasantly surprised to find that Snoop was extremely polite and a complete gentleman... and he called off his body guards before they had a chance to body slam me or anything.

Another time, I met Dodger legend Jose Lima. It was right after he pitched that perfect game. He looked so different outside of his uniform in his fly black Armani suit. I was almost tempted to say, "How you doin'???"

Two very influential people whom I've never had the chance to meet, but would love to meet, are Pamela Anderson and (of course) my favorite artist, Olivia. Ms. Anderson is an inspiration to animal lovers and the perfect spokesperson for PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals); and Olivia's art is a glimpse of her inner beauty.

Books:

Mostly Romance, but not your mom's romance novels! I like Romantic Thrillers, like the works of Lisa Jackson... It's romance, suspense, and whole lotta love-making: "Hot-Blooded," "Cold-Blooded," "If She Only Knew," "The Morning After," and "The Night Before."

"Tell Me Lies," Jennifer Cruise, "The Sands of Time," Sidney Sheldon, "The Da Vinci Code," Dan Brown, "Skinny Dip," Carl Hiassen, "Stranger in a Strange Land," Robert Heinlen, "How the Garcia Girls Lost Their Accent," Julia Alvarez, "Face of An Angel," Denise Chavez, "Milk in My Coffee," Eric Jerome Dickey, and "Thief's Paradise," also by Eric Jerome Dickey.

Heroes:

My nanny Mary, who was more of a mother than a caretaker. She gets full credit for the person I am today. She taught me how to love and respect myself. Most importantly, she showed me what real class is all about. My uncle John who was Mary's husband. They had a love that was everlasting and I learned from their experience to never settle for less. Even the bad people who've came into my life. I've learned a lot from the bad ones; I learned not to end up like them. Also, the bad boys who've broken my heart. Luckily I was smart enough not to settle with any of them. My friend Lizzy, who's been here for me since day one, and without a thought she's a positive role model. I also want to add one of my Korean aunts. I know this sounds strange but I don't remember her name. She died when I was 10 years old and since then no one has spoken of her. She was really kind to me so I want to always remember her. And, my new friends on this site. I read all your comments and it means a lot to me. I hope we can all meet one day.
