You know, a lot of people think since i have so many pics up and poses im conceited and in love with myself...and i mean thats cool, think what you want, but in case ya dont know, the reason i take all these pics and probably come off as conceited is cuz i used to weight 337 pounds and have acne and horrid glasses and everything you can imagine....dont believe me? ask to see the pics.....so thats why i am gonna take pics, i am gonna be CONFIDENT and i am gonna come off however i want to. this is me, if u dont like it deal with it..anyways, here is a bio bout my life so you can know a lil more bout me......after all this is MYSPACETHIS IS THE NEW PRO BIO:MY LIFEAlthough he was born in Sin City, Las Vegas, Nevada, Christopher Pendolino and his mother relocated to Bakersfield, California only a few months later. As an only child raised by a single mother, growing up in southern California was far from paradise for Pendolino. It was a tumultuous childhood to say the least. Christopher Pendolino was forced to grow up fast, living in the ghettos and hoods of East Bakersfield, ages one to ten, then living in the country from age ten to eleven with his mother and an abusive step father who beat both Pendolino and Pendolino's mother were only half the problem. Although he was able to break up his mothers marriage and convince her to leave her husband, there was another massive creator of mental anguish that tormented Pendolino through his adolescence."I was always overweight as a child. I didn't really have any friends except for my dogs, the majority of which caught parvol and died," recalls Pendolino, "Kids would call me earthquake when I ran, they'd call me fat ass, basically every name you could think of that was derogatory. My lowest point was probably in high school when I was as an obese 337 pounds." As one might imagine, these feelings of alienation and despair served to motivate Pendolino, and on September 13, 1996, Pendolino's life would take a drastic turn that catapulted him to what he is today. "My mom loves music. From the Beatles, to the Rolling Stones, to Elvis, To the Eagles, to oldies, there was always music playing. I wanted to be a singer, but i couldnt carry a tune," remembers Pendolino. "The day Tupac died though, like somethin went off in me. I was watching MTV in my living room and a news update came up sayin he died. For some reason, i picked up a pen and a pad and wrote my first song. I was only 13," recalls Pendolino. From this point forward Christopher Pendolino found an outlet to channel his pain into, and he found a way to escape the everyday burdens of his life, writing his music. " I had a lot of time on my hands," recalls Pendolino, " I had no friends, no girls liked me, I would ask out girls and get laughed at and rejected left and right all the way up to age 18 - so, i wrote. I wrote and wrote and wrote, and i practiced my songs." A true perfectionist, Pendolino pushed himself to get better and better. Then, at age 17, Pendolino booked some time in a studio and recorded his first songs. "I wasnt really good at all back then, i was ok, but definitely not the business. I was 337 pounds at the time, wore coke bottle glasses, didnt believe in God, had been suicidal for the past 2 or 3 years, so people just laughed when i told them Id be famous and told them my dreams," Pendolino remembers. It was around this time Pendolino's life would take it's most dramatic turn; he found God."Everything changed," says Pendolino, "I started to lose weight, i got contacts, at age 18 i finally got my first ever girlfriend, kiss, and well yeah...!" exclaims Pendolino. The ugly duckling was becoming a swan. Not only was his appearance improving, but his music had drastically improved as well. "sometimes you have to die in order to live. I let go of wanting to do things my way and i gave all control to God. Now i realize it was all a process to make me what i am today," says Pendolino.Over the next year or two Pendolino became a new man, almost unrecognizable to those who knew him before. he lost almost 200 pounds through intense hard work, dedication, and drive. The once heart broken suicidal child, was now a heart breaking man, and he takes pleasure in reminding those who doubted him just how wrong they were. "It's like now all of a sudden these people who teased me and treated me like shit on the bottom of their shoe want to be my best friend, or want to be my girlfriend cuz i changed so much physically and because I'm going to be famous, but it's not me who changed, it's them. I'm still the same person Ive always been, a good person, just now they notice because of the looks, money, and fame," says Pendolino.Christopher Pendolino is now looking to the future, but he hasn't forgot where he came from. Pendolino co-founded G-spot Hypnotic with silent partner Rody Yams, and Pendolino has put the finishing touches on his debut album HOOD HEART THROB. With his seductive, flirtatious, steady, smooth voice, it's an appropriate title, but sometimes people misconstrue what it means. Pendolino didnt name his album HOOD HEART THROB because women want him and men want to be him, but rather because he embodies the drive, dedication, and determination that can develop from the hood. He is in fact the hoods heart throb, beating for every dreamer who keeps hope alive, and he intends to help as many people as possible and show them anything is possible, and they should never give up on their dreams.
Some say he's conceited, but usually those are people who judge books by their cover and dont see the substance within. The majority though, are caught in Pendolino's hypnotic charm and charisma. When asked if he's conceited, Pendolino simply responds, "I'm proud of what i achieved, and i should be. the odds were stacked against me, but God rose me above them. If they could walk the first 18 years of my life in my shoes, they'd be just as proud too."
There's no telling just how far Pendolino will go, or how successful he can be. But one things for sure, the sky's the limit.Yeah i rap, and yeah i think im good...more than good, should i be down on my skills? if you cant find something worth living for find something worth dying for.....pretty much my life is school and music...i go to CSUB major in criminal justice minor Pre law philosophy....i used to go to BC i graduated there with an AA in political science, and IF i dont make it as a rapper, the plan is to be a lawyer...Im a cancer....Obviously i dress nice and have a nice car but that doesnt mean im obssesed with material stuff...Im not greedy just prosperous.....My Cd and dvd are pretty cool you should check em out....lets see what else? Im stubborn, moody, emotional, smart, witty, thoughtful, deep, loving, sensitive, loyal, charismatic, mysterious, and if you think you know me, you dont.....so if ya dont know now ya know..........right now im at the point in my life i feel im on the verge of something great..a breakthrough....care to come along?
