Drew and the No Name Blues Band

Mona Lisa Blues

About Me

Band History
Drew started the No Name Blues Band because he was fed up with the bands he had played with over the years that only included cover tunes. He (Drew) wanted to express his own music and the feeling of his own songs. This was something he had done over the years. He started writing music in high school and really as far back as he can remember. It wasn’t until he (Drew) had experienced life’s ups and downs that he began writing material for his first CD. He set out visiting the night clubs in Nashville, Tennessee to find musicians that wanted to play the style of blues that would later on be called The Mona Lisa Blues. There have been many members, too many to mention. The name No Name Blues Band came about by a sound man that would later become Drew’s personal sound guy for the band. It was voted to be called Drew and The No Name Blues Band because he (Drew) would always be a part of the Band. Should I start to name previous members the list would stretch from Jacksonville, Florida, Memphis, Tennessee, Clarksdale, Mississippi, Nashville, Tennessee and Omaha, Nebraska. This is the sole reason The Band is called Drew and the No Name Blues Band.
