THE BLUE HAWAIIANS

About Me

The Blue Hawaiians have long been established as one of the premier LA surf bands and kings of tiki noir. For ten years they held court on Sunday nights at the famous Lava Lounge and developed a world wide following for their hip and transcending brand of music as well as their live performances. The group has released five albums, three on Pascal Records, one on Coolsville/Interscope and one on Restless Records. Over the years, the band has been featured in a Guess Jean TV ad, various films and TV shows including Spongebob Squarepants. Their music could be found in compilation albums at Sharper Image and Starbucks and they even did a Christmas album that has consistently made it into top critic lists for holiday music. The band went into semi hiatus for the several years with occasional live gigs but have recently taken up residence at the new trend setting club "Bordello" for every sunday night this summer.
