In a city known for its night life and celebrity residents, Manuel "J blaze" Garcia is breaking the standards! The creator & Vj of Friday Night Fuego Miami’s premiere urban gospel radio show, Jblaze has been captivating audiences for the past year with a ground breaking format that brings the rough hard hitting Hip-Hop & Latin inspired Reggeaton in a musical fusion.
Born into a Musical family Jblaze spend most of his time as a youth, playing instruments at his local church. Driven by his desire and aspiration to have a career in music, he became a member of “Mindstate,†a rap group that included his cousin and a neighborhood friend. For the next 3 years he performed & ministered and numerous Events finally calling it quits in 2004, after being diagnose with kidney failure. Determine not to let his illness dictate his life, Jblaze kept his dream alive by interning WMBM 1490 AM & WMCA 89.7 FM Two Gospel Radio stations. Fueled by his new love & passion for radio, he decided to study communications. “ I asked God to provided if he wanted me to get into radio & he did just that,†explains Jblaze. While studying he never imagine that one-day he would have his own show (FNF 88.3Fm). “ I did the mixtape radio thing for two years with my boy DJ Tony Chiva, we gave out theses mixtapes & peeps really enjoyed them, we were on our grind!!!†explains Jblaze. Well his grind paid off early 2006, receiving an offer to have his own radio show on La Nueva 88.3FM Miami’s #1 Gospel radio station. The rest is history Friday Night Fuego has become a phenomenon broadcasting in over 7 stations worldwide & with future projects like the TV (Fuego TV) there is no stopping Jblaze & the FNF movement. “ God has Truly been Faithful†Jblaze.
