About Me

DJ Adrian born in 1980 in Miami, Florida in a small Little Havana town named after the amount of immigrants fleeing the island of Cuba, Little Havana was the birthplace of the change in sounds, culture and lifestyle of the original Miami. As a little boy, Adrian was exposed to a numerous variety of music ranging from the typical Cuban Folk Dance Danzon, to dancing Chilean Cueca from his father’s side of the family. At an early age, Adrian had this energy to play on pots and pans with wooden spoons which in reality didn’t mean much to his parents because a typical toddler would love to make noise any chance they get. There was something different about the specific times he would choose to “bang away”. They noticed that Adrian wouldn’t bang on his pots and pans unless there was music playing. They quickly realized that Adrian had an ear for music. With a mother that played piano and a dad who loved to sing, Adrian was bound to be in the music industry. By the early 90’s Adrian joined the band at school and soon began to develop his skills in music choosing his favorite musical instrument......Drums! While in the Band he noticed he had this feel for Latin music that would take him to a totally different level than just playing any other kind of genre. A few years later he had to leave the band due to a change in school but still had the passion to be invlolved in something dealing with music. He began to attend different family gatherings and would start the party by socializing with friends and family and ended up always glued to the stereo system. Adrian used his knowledge of music to his advantage and noticed he knew the right songs to play at the right time no matter who they were or where they were from, He always managed to pick and choose the right songs to get a party started. And that’s where it all began! His first job on the radio was at Florida International University’s “Radiate 88.1 fm, where he had a show once a week. Adrian began spreading his wings booking house parties as well as working on the radio, and if that wasn’t enough he had a full-time job working in an Emergency Room in Miami. Adrian wanted a full-time position in radio and started making connections with local talents on the radio like Julio Jr. “El hombre Gozadera”. Julio noticed his strive to be on the radio and allowed Adrian to be a part of his mix shows during the afternoon drive and the “Mixeo a las 7” on El Zol 95.7. He then began to mix live at nightclubs for hundreds of party goers in venue’s like Bongos Cuban Café, Quench, Madhouse (Yage) in Key Biscayne, La Covacha, Alcazaba Lounge, Café Iguana’s to name a few. DJ Adrian noticed that mixing on the radio had it’s perks when one day they offered him a shift on the air as an On-Air Personality hosting on Miami’s number 1 tropical Radio station. El Zol 95.7. DJ Adrian has had the honor of hosting events with El Gran Combo de Puerto Rico, Gilberto Santarosa, Daddy Yankee, Don Omar, Tono Rosario, Zion, Wisin y Yandel, Toby Love, Pitbull, Willy Chirino, Grupo Aventura, Carlos Oliva y los Sobrinos del Juez, Oscar D’Leon and many others. Adrian has also hosted events side-by-side with Enrique Santos and Joe Ferrero and Miami’s very own “Pimp with the Limp” DJ Laz of Power 96.5.

Situaciones de millones corazones!-Daddy YankeeDaddy Yankee with Dj Adrian
