http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zNqm8Pm0NDo ***************************Marc Adams has been part of the New Orleans music scene for the past thirty years. During that time, he has played on over 100 recordings by local, reigonal, and national artists. As a respected band leader and side man, he has played with almost everyone who is anyone in New Orleans. In 1984 Adams joined the house band of the legendary Old Absinthe House Bar band, and stayed employed there until it closed in 1997. The "A-Bar" was at that time the hottest blues club in the city. All the big touring acts would come by and sit in such as BB King, Jimmy Page, Sting, and Steven Stills to name a very few.A partial list of artists he has worked with includes: Cornell Dupree, Charlie Musselwhite, James Cotton, Roy Gaines, Wayne Bennett, Aaron & Cyril Neville, Bryan Lee, Irma Thomas, Jesse Hill, Marva Wright, George Porter Jr., Tab Benoit, the Dixie Cups, Anders Osborne, Rockin Dopsie Jr., Andy J. Forest, Eric Lindell, Jumpin Johnny Sansone, Geoff Achison, as well as many others. I have been doing alot of studio stuff lately. Andy J. Forest's "Real Stories of Love, Labor and other Man Made Catastophes" (Offbeat Magazine's Blues Album of the Year), Eric Lindell's "Low on Cash, Rich in Love" on Alligator Records, the Campbell Bro.'s "RallyTime in New Orleans" as well as several projects that have not been released yet.
