Fear is the Past, the Future is our Passion

About Me

DIGITAL ARTIST

TIFFANYTRENDA.COM

I work as a digital artist. My work is my life and my life reflects my art. I believe that art is captured only through the soul as the expression of the artist, the heart that is the passion of the artist, and the brilliance of design and concept as original as possible. Only through clear concious revalations from the unconcious that the artist is truly an artist. We are only a mushpot of constantly changing forces that combine culture, experience, and knowledge. I am concerned with Global Warming and the search for answers on any issue. I love to learn. I love to listen on what is going on with the rest of the world. I like to keep informed.

Artist Statement

Human versus machine has been an ongoing investigation. We, as humans, use the creation of the machine as a form of communication. In my work, you see the world as a constant flux of man and machine separating and touching as one individual object of desire with hopes, fears, concepts, ideas, and revelations. My work generates an apocalyptic connotation. We are all bodies of flesh and a network of information. We are our own puppeteers cloning our existence and our own death. In summary, the interface is an extension of the body. In my work, you begin to notice an optical illusion, a blurring between man and machine. I began to melt the distinction. I create a digital environment that combines mechanical and organic material. In creating this mixture, it establishes a sense of death and life as an artificial reality; a surrealistic influence. The interface is so powerful as a consumption, and a desire, that it starts to erase the human touch and begins a process of death. We give life to the machine , which is, in reality, our death. This disconnection consumes us as a powerful mechanical force that we initiate. We create and destroy in unison as both creation and destruction. We control the interface as it controls us.

Check out my site tiffanytrenda.tv. I do video installation, photography, performance and multi-media. I am a graduate of Art Center College of Design in Pasedena and have attended Pratt Institute in NY. I have had 2 solo exhibitions and over 40 gallery shows. My work was chosen as a highlight for Photo San Francisco in 2005. This same piece was chosen as a cover image for a six month running show for a museum. My art piece,"A Condemned Opera" recieved pick of the week in November 2005.

I am a digital artist who creates digital enviornments with the use of the interface. My artwork utilizes the technology of tele- vision screens, video projectors, LCD’s, DVD’s, CD’s and more. All of my work utilizes my body. They are therefore, all self portraits.
