About Me

My Interests

MOCA's mission is to be the defining museum of contemporary art. MOCA engages artists and audiences through an ambitious program of exhibitions, collection, education, and publication. MOCA identifies and supports the most significant and challenging art of its time, places it in historical context, and links the range of the visual arts to contemporary culture. MOCA provides leadership by actively fostering and presenting new work, emerging media, and original scholarship.

Books:

ART CATALOGUES at MOCA Operating within the MOCA Stores newest location at MOCA Pacific Design Center, ART CATALOGUES is a book store specializing in current and out-of-print exhibition catalogues and books on contemporary art and photography. Its specific subject interests enable it to acquire a very large and comprehensive inventory, including foreign titles. After working with libraries, dealers, collectors, auction houses, artists, and students for 27 years, owner Dagny Corcoran has recently formed a partnership with MOCA. With a special interest and expertise in art since 1945, she advises on artists or subjects and compiles descriptive lists tailored to individuals specific needs. ART CATALOGUES also publishes a "catalogue of catalogues," free upon request. Located just off the Pacific Design Center Design Plaza on the San Vicente side, ART CATALOGUES occupies part of the first floor of MOCA Pacific Design Center.
