Short biography of MDD: He started playing very young under the assistance and supervision of Edoardo CALIENDO e Roberto MUROLO. Then he decided to develop additional chords to his guitar and culture by traveling intensively in Europe and South America. Thus expanding his areas of interest to different ethnic music concepts, see his collaboration with singer & composer Mauro PAGANI in two albums entitled “Domani” and “Creuza de ma 2004”, and acquiring experience in many specific fields, like old traditional napolitan songs. Rappresentative are his collaborations and performances with two famous napolitan singers MASSIMO RANIERI and ROBERTO MUROLO. Since 1986 his collaboration with M. Ranieri, actor, singer, and director started in theater, cinema, televion, CD and DVD shows. Among them “Oggi o dimane”, “Nun è acqua”, “Accussì grande”.
His personal production of recorded music represents a good sample of his endless desire to know more and better the music of the modern world.

Opinions about MDD:
"When Mauro exposed to me the project of telling the story of a doubtlessly unusual journey, at first I had some hesitations because the initiative looked at me not so original. In a second moment, when I read some of the notes that Mauro had written, I started understanding that was the report of his new role as member of the historical group of the Inti-Illimani. The journey was an expedition within the heart of Chile and its people, the story of the incandescent magma of tragedy which has moved and involved the feelings of the entire world. An experience that has radically changed the consciousness of so many close and far-away people aware of what happened during and after the days of President Salvador Allende. Mauro's project was full of pain but humor, happiness and sadness, was complex portrait of a political and human series of events. When I realized the multiversity of Mauro's message, I felt very close to him and decided of helping him in his arduous project." (Luis SEPULVEDA)
"Con Mauro realizamos tambien una gira in America Latina donde pudimos comprobar como este musico, de formacion mediterranea, logabra captar y reproponer creativamente la tematica musical sudamericana en una sintesi notable." (INTI-ILLIMANI Group)
