About Me

About me...
(BLAHBLAH SECTION)
I'm a tall mofo - 6'4.
I run my own biz. (music production company)
I've written, sang and produced my own songs which can be heard everywhere from MTV's Real Word, Road Rules, Gauntlet II, The Duel, to CBS's NFL Today, etc..
I'm having fun working on a brand new project of mine called "Lovers and Liars". I have also recently done tourdates around the U.S playing piano for grammy-award winning artist "Linda Davis".
A female pop song I produced and co-wrote was featured on "American Idol" with their songwriting competition this year. My friggin' face is on the A.I website - check it out, haha. (END BLAHBLAH SECTION)
Ok, now that's out of the way.. ABOUT ME!!!!!! ME!!!!!! ME!!!!!!!!! ME ME ME ME ME ME ME! I was born a poor black child in Russia. (I turned white at the age of 5) I was shipped to this country in a FedEx box that got misdelivered to a strip club in Whigham, Georgia. There, I met a brother and sister (who were married) and they took me in and raised me until I was 6. It was time for me to get a job. So, I started stripping and selling newspapers. (yes, at the same time.) I'd come out dressed in the sports section and reveal the business section as my big finale. I became semi-famous in the small town. (2 out of those 8 residents knew me) That's 1/4th of the population! When I was 10, I decided it was time to gain control of my funds. Till then, I was only being paid in glue. I sued the brother/sister for controlling interest in the strip club and ended up tearing it down to build a huge monument to Engelbert Humperdinck. That monument fell down the next day, but with it's pieces I erected a much smaller memorial of the married brother and sister who found me on their doorstep on that cold snowy July day. (When the Englebert Humperdinck monument fell, it crushed them) God Bless You, Harold and Bessy. God Bless You. You taught me so much.
Ok, so maybe some of that was a stretch.
I wasn't born all the way black.
Sorry 'bout that, back to the real story.... I grew up stuck in a small town (Cairo, Ga) so I'm pretty sure that's why I love to TRAVEL. (I've been to England (3 times), Ireland, Austria, Scotland, Italy, France, Switzerland, The Bahamas, Hawaii, Mexico, Grand Cayman, Jamaica, Haiti, and more!)
Random "What The Hell?" Trivia Fact: Pop in actress Jenna Jameson's new multi-million dollar directorial debut movie, "Jenna's Provocateur" and the first thing you hear is my voice!!!! haha. (She used 8 of my band's songs in her movie and on the dvd menus as well) For this, we were actually nominated for an AVN award out in Vegas but lost to Eddie Van Halen... no lie.. look it up!
Random Rant: (RANT) There's a time to be mature.. and there's a time to let loose.
Being ultra-mature where it counts is important to me... but, being ultra-immature/silly where it counts is also very important to me.
Laughter can get you through almost anything. Some think because they're a certain age that there's a guidebook out there telling you to no longer laugh at the silly things, act a certain way, to not be afraid to be spontaneous.. or just be yourself!
Every age I've ever been, there's been someone else that age trying to act OLDER than they really are! Why? These are the same people who look back and wonder why they took life soooooooo seriously and then wonder why they missed out on it.
My parents are great examples of people who can laugh at just about anything and never ever stopped doing that even now.

My Interests

Well...I could never "fit" into a particular group or click of people in high school. I always had one friend from each group. I was more like "the bridge" between the groups.. ya know? Yeah, those groups suck... plain and simple. Who needs the drama, alienation, rumors, blah... just be yourself and don't worry about "the label" people want to apply to you....

Cos people are going to try to label you no matter what you do, so you might as well be true to yourself and don't worry ... the label will eventually peel off.

So in my interests, you'll find my appreciation for things that simply don't match... things that are all about the rock, things that normally don't rock, things that are outright nerdy, things mainstream, things indie.. whatever... or even things that are bitchin' cool! (who uses that phrase? .. I don't... ok.. maybe just then....I was under alot of stress) I love it all.. good is good!.. if that makes me cool or a dork, I'm fine with it! :)

Music, Concerts, Travel, Movies, New Foods, New Experiences, New Places, Spontaneous Acts of Craziness.

I'd like to meet:

my uncle's cousin on my grandma's brother's side (I know what you're thinking... but NO, not the one on my paternal grandmother's side, but the one who was originally kin to one of my great grand-uncle's sister's half nephew (not half by a previous marriage, but half as in "amputee") 's dad's first born's twin's 3rd ex husband's dad's friend's landlord's tax attorney's cousin's long lost (at sea) cusbin (both cousin and husband)'s fetish mistress' son's old friend from high school's english teacher's helper's only child's doctor's nurse's gynecologist. He owes me $4.

Music:

Music..... Music is my everything...I come from over 4 generations of musicians on both sides of my family! It's my job, my hobby, my business, my love, my passion, my obsession!

Movies:

Ask anyone who knows me well.. I've had some seemingly random movies change the course of my life, haha. I won't go into it on here... but damnit, it's true.
When I was 5 - it was "AMADEUS"
When I was 11 - it was "GREAT BALLS OF FIRE"
when I was 16 - it was "BRAVEHEART"
When I was 18 - it was "DEBBIE DOES DALLAS"

ok maybe I'm kidding about that last one.

Television:

I don't get to watch much television. (probably a good thing because it's so damn addictive)
The shows I love, though....
Da Ali G Show, Coupling (BBC), Bill Maher HBO Live, Rome, Sopranos, Planet Earth, Carnivale, 24, Prison Break, Married With Children, and Monty Python's Flying Circus!

If none of those are on but the Tv's on, then it's more than likely on the Science Channel.

Books:

Heroes:

HOGAN's HEROES! hmm... I can't honestly say the Nashville Police Department. (sorry, but it's true!) I had a burglary at my storage unit (full of music gear) and they wouldn't come out to even look or investigate!Yet, among other incompetent actions I've witnessed, I was given a parking ticket while loading in my equipment at a show. You wanna know why? Cos my car was in a loading zone!!

REAL AMERICAN HERO: Larry Flynt!
Love him or hate him, if it wasn't for him we'd live in one of the most government censored countries in the western world.

(Oh wait.. we still do...)
