I would like to meet... Anyone who has something to offer a new friend. I'm down for meeting strangers in real life as long as you're not a murderer or otherwise seedy character. I love meeting people and I'm frightfully outgoing at times.
What is there to say about Kate? Well Kate got tired of her profile being boring and decided to burn an hour or so playing with layouts and whatnot... so here we go. Random thoughts, because that's how I am. Keep scrolling if you really want to get to know me. Don't be afraid to click the link to read my blog either...
I am incredibly proud of my brother and his choice to pursue his career doing EMT/paramedic stuff.
I love my seester for being my voice of reason.
Finding money in purses and pants pockets makes me very happy.
I will pay a little more money for good laundry detergent.
Good Q-Tips are worth the extra two dollars because they don't bend in your ear like the generic ones do.
I have never fit in with people my age. Older folks just make more sense. This includes guys and girls as well.
I love my apartment.
I think I want to live here for a long, long time. I will turn it into a full time studio when I buy something.
Having a plan helps, but it never goes like you think it will. Adaptability is necessary for sanity and success.
I miss Silvertide shows.
Sometimes a pedicure is totally worth 40 bucks after a long week.
Jack Daniels tastes like home. Is that bad?
Someone on the television is talking about breast feeding. I find that odd. I wasn't breast fed though my mother wishes I had been.
My arm itches.
Chiggers are the WORST at Radnor Lake but it's completely worth it. I love hiking around looking for animals.
I miss the days when my mom would buy me shoes to match new outfits.
I recently found my diaries from 4-7th grade. I had crushes on lots of different guys. I talked about butts a lot.
My arm still itches. I need to go get lotion from the bathroom.
I bought a bill organizer for the personal bills. Makes me feel more organized. Sometimes the creative side of me gets in the way of the business side. My bill organizer was a dollar at Target.
I refuse to eat seafood. That includes anything that lived in water. Strange of me, I know, but it comes from when I was a kid.
I love to cook. Not seafood. See previous.
I don't get nervous during tests unless it's accounting or finance.
I think that's all the random thoughts I have for today.
And PS... check out how I pay the rent at myspace.com/katemsingleton :)

Television:

Friends is an incredibly cohesive series. I love it. I used to watch Dawson's Creek; Andy knew not to call at 8pm or whenever it was because I'd let him go to watch it. Behind the Music was what inspired me to learn about music as an industry. Mr. Roger's Neighborhood was quality television, and Sesame Street taught me Spanish and about the Lady Bug Picnic. Queer As Folk shaped me in strange ways too. I think it might have brought me and Kleiman closer like Friends did for me and Jon. I never watched Fraggle Rock and some people think that's a shame. We didn't have cable though. Maybe that was the reason? My dad had a satelite dish when we were super little. When my brother was a baby he got caught watching porn or something. They sold the dish for an original Nintendo with a Duck Hunt gun. But I guess that's not television, really.

Fahrenheit 451

Happiness is not overrated.

When I am happy everything is different. I don't realize how mediocre my days can be when I don't apply myself. And what's worse, when I avoid responsibility and get buried alive, my life downright bl...
