GLISS is a band of three we come from all over the world. David, Martin and Victoria. when we get in a room together we create vibe. Our first show @ Star Shoes w / the Adored. We performed uncountable gigs on the west coast, New York, and in Europe. Toured with : The Raveonettes, BRMC, BILLY CORGAN on his 2005 Future Embrace European Tour, Editors, We Are Scientists. played with many amazing bands: Cold War Kids, Richard Swift, The Broken West, Silversun Pickups, Darker My Love, Pop Levi, Yeti (Libertines-bass), Youth Group, Marjorie Fair, Secret Machines, Giant Drag, and many more. We have performed @ Europe festivals w / Hot Hot Heat, Pixies, Goldfrapp, Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds, Prodigy, Magic Numbers & The Raveonettes.

Recorded with Rick Parker (BRMC) In May of 2005 we did 4 of 5 Mondays for thee hip ECHO RESIDENCY in LA. The last show was cancelled, because of the CORGAN TOUR. We flew to Europe to begin an amazing journey through Portugal, Spain, Italy, Germany, Amsterdam, France, Belgium, England, Ireland, & Denmark. Made lovely friends and fans along the way. Released a few eps locally and now have our first proper ep GLISS "Kick In Your Heart" Available in the US/Canada. Our first single was released August 2005 in the UK. We performed live on the beautiful 88.9 fm KXLU, as well as, airplay on KCRW, Indie 103.1 fm and various radio through out the globe. We have 4 singles out in the UK on Tough Cookie - Halfway Gone, Rugby Rd, Kissing the Blvd & Blue Sky, which received airplay on BBC Radio 1, BBC Radio Radio 6 and XFM !

Gliss conjures up a world where American garage rock meets the swirling ominous sounds of Berlin's Krautrock. With fuzzed-out My Bloody Valentine guitars, The Dandy Warhol's poppy rhythmic sensibilities, and the dark propulsion of The Liars, Gliss chronicles the excesses of a life they can't seem to quit. This isn't to say that there's no fun to be had: Blue Sky is a wailing floor-stomper, propelled by drum kicks and a deliciously simple guitar lick, while Kissing The Boulevard is a double-time dancer with smoothed out synth bridges. Darker tracks like Falling to Pieces, Make Believe, and Innocent Eyes lament innocence lost to a rock 'n' roll life. Gliss makes doing bad sound good enough not to dissuade anyone from hedonism. Dynamic frontman Martin Klingman and bandmates David Reiss and Victoria Cecilia, all multi-instrumentalists, each contributed vocals, guitar, bass and drums to the album and frequently change instruments during live shows.

Love The Virgins captures the chaos and beauty of the dark underbelly of rock 'n' roll excess.
