Metromix LA is the newly created web venture that's about to rock your city and maybe, depending on your taste for awesomeness, your world. Metromix (familiar to some from its longstanding run in Chicago) recently launched its Los Angeles version and will serve as a guide for 20/30 something Angelenos to what's hot, new and/or happening in their city. The website offers bar/restaurant listings as well as a calendar of events and relevant editorial coverage and reviews. My Interests

Happy hours, cheap burritos, your friend's friend's band, blurry pictures from last night, starving artists, rich ones, cool shoes, splurging on a good meal, high fives, and getting to know the city you've lived in for years.

I'd like to meet:

People who are not ashamed to do The Robot after a few drinks. Eh, maybe a little ashamed.

Music:

Anything that makes us nostalgic for the present, or is a catalyst for booty wagging.

Movies:

Stadium seating or drunk in the graveyard: a good movie is a good movie.

Television:

Those nasty surgery shows.

Books:

Musty old novels found at thrift stores, surprisingly good modern poetry, or confessions scrawled in a public bathroom.
