Since graduating from Paul McCartney‘s Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts in 2004 Ola Bienkowska successfully continues to combine work in both theatre and the music industry. * Ola appeared as a lead in Roman Polanski’s „Dance Of The Vampires“ at Warsaw’s Roma Theatre, played young Edith Piaf at the Ateneum Theatre, joined the cast of „Ain’t Misbehavin‘“ directed by Andrzej Strzelecki and is currently preparing for the role of Cathy in the Polish premiere of Robert Jason Brown’s „The Last Five Years“. At LIPA she played Hermia in “The Midsummer Night’s Dream” and was the first ever Polish member of the British Student Theatre Company, understudying in the European premiere of “Six Women With Braindeath” directed by Kate Golledge at the Edinburgh Fringe.* Her singing session work includes backing vocals for Polish Pop Idol sensation Hanna Stach (Opole Premiery 2004 and 2007, Top Trendy 2004, Eurovision Finals 2007), Universal R&B act Dezire (Eurovision Finals 2006), Polish jazz legend Ewa Bem, singer Anna Serafinska and rapper Norbi among others. She has several recordings under her belt, appearing both as BV and featured artist with Edyta Geppert, Michal Bajor, Hanna Stach, Ewa Malas-Godlewska, TAPFS . * Ola has worked as a member of in-house bands for live TV shows and festivals such as Pop Idol III (2004), Festiwal Jedynki Sopot (with Kate Ryan and Big Stars among others - 2006), the BMG Ladies gala, Igrzyska Polonijne 2005 or Pejzaz Bez Ciebie – Klenczon. * Her solo performances gained her 1st Prize at the FAMA festival and 3rd prize at the OFSET festival in Poland. Ola’s latest solo appearances include a performance in the Anna Jantar commemorative concert at the Opera Nova in Bydgoszcz. *For the last few years Ola has traveled the world touring with The Australian Pink Floyd Show featuring as soloist on „The Great Gig In The Sky“. In May 2007 TAPFS have recorded a DVD at the Royal Albert Hall and on March 1st 2008 played in Poland for the first time, performing to an audience of six thousand at the Spodek arena. *Ola also works as a dubbing and voice-over artist (among others the voice of Lioness in Polish version of A.T.O.M. and Baby Bop in Barney and Friends). She produced numerous programmes for MTV Polska and VH1 Polska as staff Polish Versioning Producer. She has a MA in Applied Linguistics from the University Of Warsaw.
