Anyone without a sense of humor is at the mercy of the rest of us.

About Me

I love comedy. I love to study it, from the choice of words to the subject matter to observing how much command a comedian has over their audience. I tend to favor the type of comedy that is a story, rather than one-liners (which I do like, just not as much). I believe that you can joke about any subject, as long as the humor is placed well. I believe that you should not make fun of someone because of their skin color, height, weight (for the most part), gender or age. These are all things that you cannot help but being. OK, you could get a sex change or liposuction, but you get the point. I believe that you can make fun of someone for their choices. Decide to stick your penis in a vacuum, and you are fair game. Dress up in women's clothing and walk into a biker bar? Fair game there, too. Choosing a religion, and that is open as well. I also love to make people laugh. For me in particular, I see no higher calling than to give someone a moment of joy. I think that there is so much in life to be concerned about and things that stress us, that a good laugh is not only appreciated, but is necessary. Consider me a modern day jester.

My Interests

I like to travel. Back in 2000 I decided to quit my job, pack up the car, and drive across the country. I hit Mardi Gras, saw an old friend in Alabama, and saw my best friend Dave in Norfolk. I stayed with him for a few months, and then traveled up into Canada to see the Bay of Fundy. It's incredable to see the tide rise 25' or more in a few hours! Each October I work at Knott's Scary Farm, so I guess you could say that I like to scare people. :) I think it stems from back when I used to tease my sister by finding different ways of scaring her. I don't know why, but she still talks to me. :) I've been working the Haunt since 1996. I hope to keep on doing it for as long as my body can handle it.

I'd like to meet:

My good twin brother, people who play RPG's (as in with dice and all, not some computer game thingie), creative people, other monsters, other white knights, writers, and more people who are like my friends below.

Music:

Yeah, like there's EVEN enough room to list every band I like! :) I'm an 80's metal kind of guy, but there's a whole lot more behind that. I range from Big Bad Voodoo Daddy to Type O Negative to Styx to Slayer to Grieg to Kodo to Melissa Ethridge to The Doobie Brothers to... I also love comedy. Eddie Izzard, Bill Hicks, David Cross, Carlos Mencia, George Carlin, Father Guido Sarducci, Tom Lehrer... If I had a bigger "pair" I'd try my hand at being a stand-up. The key seems to be making general observations about life.

A-ha Family Guy

Movies:

I have the worst taste in movies.I probably liked it if:A) A Vampire is involved, B) A Werewolf / Lycan is involved, C) "There can only be one" is the catch phrase, D) Kevin Smith directed it, E) There are swords, a quest, or something somewhat AD&D about it, F) It was directed by Hayao Miyazaki or came from Studio Ghibli, G) Animated in general, H) Involved Stop-Motion photography
You Are Creepy
Serial killers would run away from you in a flash. How Scary Are You?

Television:

I don't watch television. I thought about it one day, and realized that I am paying for cable to watch Pro Wrestling and South Park each week. I figured I could put that time and money saved to better use. That was a long time ago, and I still don't watch TV at home. I do watch Cartoon Network with my nephews when I'm with them.

Books:

Mostly fantasy books for me. Robert E. Howard (Conan books), David Eddings (The Belgariad, The Malorian, The Elenium...), Michael Moorcock (The Elric Saga), Fritz Lieber (Fafhrd & The Grey Mouser), Edgar Rice Burroghs (John Carter of Mars books), Lawrence Watt-Evans, Shakespeare, Poe, Ray Bradburry, Piers Anthony (Incarnations of Immortality), and R.A. Salvitore (Drizzit) are all authors of books that I have seen in librarys. :)

Heroes:

I admire my best friend Dave for enduring the uphill battle that is and continues to be his life. I admire him for sticking to his code/morals, no matter what. I also admire my good friend Donny for overcoming the problems of his youth, for being the fantastic father that he is, for his everpresent positive attitude, and for being the funniest "silver~stretch~pants~Afro~wig~Lava-lava~with~a~purple~boa" wearing softball player ever to grace the diamond! I admire my good friend Johnny. His helpful insight and wisdom is only exceeded by his caring heart. Most of all, I admire everyone who heard my call and sent well-wishes to my sister in her hour of need. You are all my heroes.

go ahead... fuck with the Jesus.
