In the summer of 2003, somewhere in the suburbs of Minneapolis, Minnesota, a kid named Ryan Warnberg started San-Com Productions when he realized that he and his friends were making incredibly innovative music that no one heard besides their parents. San-Com Productions was created to promote this music, get it played on the radio, get it into stores, get it heard in a live setting, keep it moving forward, and most importantly, to get it heard. Since then it has grown to include the work of a maniac graphic designer who couldn't stop if he tried, and a self-described gonzo journalist.
Between the music, the art, and the writing, San-Com has evolved into a well oiled machine of progress. San-Com musicians (Scum, Oceans in Space, Willis Hajitosan Jackson, and Super Omni) have been featured on local radio stations, are available in various independent record stores, and have played tons of mind-blowing live shows. Administrator Ryan Warnberg recently returned from a summer in New York city working for Warner Brothers Records, a hugely successful music marketing firm called takeoutMARKETING, and Good Peoples, a collective of minds dedicated to making the underground MOVE. Our graphic designer George Hower has been freelancing doing devastatingly sweet work for various stores, websites, and independent organizations, and our Journalist, Jargg has been busting his ass in miami writing for AllHipHop.com and URB, among others.
Everything we have created is self-produced, and self promoted, and self-aware. We love what we do and will continue to do it no matter what and we are glad that you are here for it. So if you are reading this, you are now one of us. Thanks a lot for coming, check out the site and what we have to offer, and get to know the crew.
SAN-COM Productions: We control more than you think.
