Whether it would be feeling the vibes of that global sound through the bones, or dancing it out to the hard pounding beat of trance, The Unknown has been one to feel the sound of house music in his soul! In 2001, he was introduced to dance music, more specifically progressive music. He was instantly hooked and moved by the way the tracks flowed together to create that driving non-stop beat! Soon after that he got his first set of tables and started buying records. It was around the same time that he met Dr. B@se and became great friends, spinnig together all the time. They had similar taste in music and alot of the same influences - Caffiene, Mixin Marc, Blue Mike, Naw-T-Boy, G squared.------------------------------------------
In 2002 is when he really started spinning and spent 8 months playing for many hours everyday. Even though the progressive sound got the Unknown hooked, he still wanted to check out some other types of dance music. He got into playing some house and techno, but then was bitten by the hardstyle bug and was addicted from then on. He started spinning at a few house parties with Dr B@se and in 2003, got his big show at Purdue University to spin a sorority party. There he was able to blast his skills to the crowd! After that, he kept spinning at small house parties. But In 2004, he hooked up with "Ghost", who was with Chi-town VIP productions. The Unknown was able to spin at Halftimes in West Chicago on Friday nights and did a car show in Naperville with Ghost.-----------------------------------------Losing interest in the way the newer hardstyle was sounding, Unknown started looking into spinning other music. Soon he got his first Tiesto cd and that was it, he found his new style! TRANCE! He started spinning trance music as soon as he could and found that there were many different sounds of trance music. Tiesto was really Unknown's only influence for trance and he found trance to be very personal and felt to make it his own sound, and thats what he did! He worked to find his own style and still to this day he works on it.-------------------------
In 2005, Unknown met up with DJ Wrek, a dj / producer who was happy to work with the Unknown! From there, the Unknown's good friend Dr. B@se along with DJ Wrek teamed up to create their record label called Structured Muziq, and were to have Unknown join them. Now the Uknown plans to release his first full length mixed cd, Tranceformed ver. 1.0. Now more than ever, the Unknown seeks to blend his way into othe club scene and take his style and music to another dimension!
