Aggressor started in May of 2005 with the downfall of three bands. Guitarist David Melnick and vocalist Alex Logvinovski were in Dead Reckoning, Rapaport and Aaron D’Silva were in Ultimatum, and Max was in Procreation. Melnick and Max started jamming after meeting at a Procreation concert, and since Melnick could tell they all wanted to split from their bands, Melnick organized a meet with himself, Max, Rapaport, and Aaron, and it was an instant connection. They brought in Alex as vocalist, and immediately began writing songs. But a couple of months later, Alex departed from Aggressor from a lack of interest, but he agreed to let Aggressor use his lyrics. Alex was replaced by the vocalist for Death By Technology, Scott Vyper, who proved to be a better match for Aggressor. Melnick got a deal with his uncle at Columbia College Recording Studios, and Aggressor recorded a three-song demo in November/December of 2005. In May of 2006, Aggressor let go of Melnick and replaced him with Trevor D’Silva, Aaron’s older brother. We feel stronger than ever to accomplish our goal: taking over Chicago...then the world.
