Damon Sturgeon

Born in Ashington, Northumberland way back in 1976 and have lived in Horsforth, Leeds since 1999. Don't gig as much as I should (if at all!) I intend to change that.The songs that are on here were recorded in the Newcastle bedroom of Mr Ross Lewis over the course of a weekend in 2003 and formed part of my old set. I've written loads since then but they are all in a half finished, half arsed state (something else which I intend to change). I dropped out of the acoustic scene shortly after they were recorded and became the lead guitarist in a Leeds band called The Cubes (sometimes you just need to wig out). In feb 2006 after a lot of gigging and a lot of time in the studio I felt my time with the boys had drawn to a natural conclusion so I left to concentrate on work.Work, I have since found, is proper shit. After a lot of grafting and a lot of time in an office I felt my time with my employers had come to a natural conlusion so I left to concentrate on me.Which brings us to date. I'm currently working in another office environment but have made up my mind to dust off my old set, roll up my sleeves and start playing music again.
