Well my name is Liz and I'm well into me fashion, I hate it when you see women who are 'mutton dressed as lamb', I like to think I add a bit of class to the Rovers Return, it was well needed!
I first moved to Coronation Street, Weatherfield in 1989 with my husband Jim and my lovely twin boys, Steve and Andy. Me and Jim had our fair share of problems, he was very hot tempered and didn't like it when I went out in mini-skirts, I tried to tell him that they were the fashion, but he wouldn't have any of it, he used to call me a tart, but I wasn't, I mean, just coz I had lots of affairs, doesn't mean I'm a tart! Anyways, we broke up after our baby Katie died coz he hit me, it was a dead sad time. After we broke up, Jim started stalking me and I had to take him to court to get an injunction out on him - he didn't listen though and I got him sent to prison.
When he came out of prison, I got back with him for a while, but he had an accident and he couldn't walk anymore, so I decided to have an affair with his Physiotherapist and then I nicked off from the Street for a while. That relationship went tits up, so I went back to trusty old Jim, but then the stupid sod went and got sent back to prison for manslaughter for killing Jez Quigley - I don't blame him though coz Jez tried to kill my Steve. Anyways I nicked off from Coronation Street again for a couple of years, the memories were too painful to handle, I needed to find me head!
When my head was cleared, I realised that home is where the heart is and I came back to the Street once again and decided to wait for Jim to come out of prison, but the silly sod went and attacked another prisoner and he's not getting out 'til 2008, so I thought, "Sod that" I'm not waiting for him again.
Since then, I've done bar work, but I've finally hit the big time now and I'm licencee of the Rovers Return and I've also met my fiance Vernon, he's a bit lazy, but he plays the drums and I just know he'll be famous, I can't wait! Oh I'm also having an affair with Derek the Delivery Man, but shhhhhh, don't tell Vernon.
