Katie Murray is an Edinburgh based singer and co-writes songs with John Phillips. More correctly John is the musical and technical talent finding tunes to put to the musings and ramblings that Katie calls "lyrics".The songs listed were recorded in John's front room (listen out of the ticking clock in Purple Blue) whilst drinking tea and spraffing about music.Katie is also lead vocalist in the Angel conversations, where John plays guitar.The band are currently on a break just now after recording an EP and off exploring other musical projects.You can see Katie and John playing in many of Edinburgh's acoustic venues at some point, when they aren't being too introverted....... keep an eye out for this pair.Lost (©K.Murray/J.Phillips)Purple Blue (©K.Murray/J.Phillips)
