Hi, I run Edinburgh Recording Studio Windmill Sound a modest but well equipt Studio in Newtongrange, just outside Edinburgh. I provide a full production service to musicians from singer-songwriters to bands. Classical, Jazz, Indie, Rock, Acoustic, Folk, you name it I cover it.
I am often to be found taking in live music in an around Edinburgh, Favourites include Out of the Bedroom, The Listening Room, and Acoustic Edinburgh. So if a man offers you a Windmill Sound business card at your gig, its probably me.
I only take on a limited number of projects and devote myself to them. So if you don't want to be just another person on the conveyor, perhaps you want someone who will really take an interest in your music.

Recent MySpacers through my studio include the following artists - you can find example tracks of these recordings on my website.
   Recent Recordings
Kiddo
Raw, energetic, get-up-and-dance, indie rock and roll. You are going to love these guys.
Townhouse
Acoustic music of the highest order. Great songs, great voices, great playing - listen and learn.
Caroline Gilmour
This poppy songstress is currently recording and album with Daniel Davis producing.
Ben Young
Singer-Songwriter with outrageous guitar ability, and great off-the-wall songs too.
Havana Fayre
Mare catchy indie rock and roll. Check out the new demo tracks.
Fiona Thom
Cafe Music, sweet music, and the foot-tappingly awesome cuban classic 'Edinburgh'.
The Angel Conversations
great tunes, great instruments, great playing and the style... Celtic Goth? you decide
Fletcher
Acoustic Rock of the highest order. Had Page and Plant stuck to open-mic nights, they might have sounded somewhat like Fletcher.
Sugardaddy
Goodtime rockers with a definate leaning to the Glam side of life. Cheesier than a Cliff Richard Christmas. Enjoy!
Empire
Metal. Robert Johnson may have sold his soul to the devil, but the devil sold his soul to Empire. Be very afraid.
Daniel Vzeu
Jazzy crooner with a unique voice.
The Xtras
Soaring Melodies and driving rhythms, these indie-rockers are mighty fine.
Chocyamo
Are they indie, alternative, something else... depends on the day, but Bernard Drake has gone down as one of Ediburgh's favourite indie songs of recent years. For the love of chocolate, listen to this!
Jason Wringe
Hairy wild man of the Edinburgh acoustic scene. Songs to make you high, low, angry, uplifted. He may not be Bob Dylan but...
Thorn's Musical Journey
Come on a musical journey into the soul. See I told you, Americans do have hearts, and there's one laid bare in these songs.
Lindsay Sugden
From one of Edinburgh's most prolific and busiest artists, this is indie acoustic chic that is unforgetable. Lindsay swept the board at 2008 Edinburgh Acoustic Idols awards.
