About Me

The Precious Metal Blog was never anything I thought of starting, but the idea was given to me after I wrote an article for a friends website. Rod, from The Worst Horse, asked me to write something for his site. I tried coming up with something original. I took two of my greatest loves, heavy metal and Dharma, and drew parallels between the two. With Rod’s brilliant editing skills the article came out great I think. If you haven’t checked out Rod’s site, I’d recommend it highly to anyone who is into pop-culture and Dharma, or anyone looking for a not so serious outlook on things.
It was fun, and after writing it, Rod thought I should try my hand at my own site/blog. If by chance you have not read my first article you can by going to http://theworsthorse.net and look for the article titled “Precious Metal” or go to it directly at http://theworsthorse.net/nated/nated-1.html
Now that I’ve written a few more pieces, I’ve become hooked on this blog thing and have a few more articles in the works. I’d love to hear some feedback from you readers, so don’t be scared, leave a comment or two. I’ll keep this up as long as people are interested in reading it.
As you will see in the “disclaimer” (on my blog) I am no professional, everything here is just my opinion. Some articles may touch a nerve, but that’s kind of what I intend to do. Make people think! And also, maybe some of the things I’ve gone through might help other people with the things they are going through. If I can ever help you or anyone you know, get in touch. I’ll do my best to help you in any way that I can.

My Interests

Website of a good friend Rod Meade Sperry. Easily the most amusing approach to the Dharma in pop-culture and other facets of everyday life.

I'd like to meet:

Anyone and everyone. Whether you're on this path or not, we're all human beings seeking one thing, happiness.

ATTENTION BANDS: I've been getting any over abundance of requests from bands. Up till now I had no problem adding you as friends but from here on out I'm going to be a little more picky. This MySpace page is to promote the blog that I write. I understand you, as a band, are trying to promote yourselves as well, I've been there. But, since this page is meant to promote the blog, that's what it is going to be used for. If we know eachother, and our bands have jammed before or something along those lines, and you want to be added, send me a message first and I'll send the request your way. Sorry to have to do it but I'm getting to many requests from bands I don't even know and obviously they have their own pages to promote themselves on. I do add bands and will continue to, but I had to put the safeguard up. Maybe someday I'll take it off but that's how it is for now...
