About Me

Originating from the darkest corner of cyberspace, A STONER'S DREAM™ (formerly known as Lunar Eclipse) have arrived to warp your senses. Originally created by Darrell Wright (owner of Illegal Copy Presentations™ ) as a mix band for "The Great Dope Hunt" soundtrack, A STONER'S DREAM™ achieved minor success for their intrumental "Into The Beyond". Capitalizing on their success, A STONER'S DREAM™ released the album "BIZZZ R" in early May 2007. With the release of their single "SALVATION", the band felt everything was going well, until they discovered that their original band name (Lunar Eclipse) was trademarked by a death metal band from Germany. To keep confusion down (and possible lawsuits) the mix band Lunar Eclipse change their name to "A STONER'S DREAM™". With this vital change made, A STONER'S DREAM™ is ready to conquer any fan of psychedelic music with a blend of unique sound and mindboggling artistry.

Music Video debut from A Stoner's Dream. A unique video filled with over 12,000 MySpace profile pics and unique Headlines focusing on the MySpace controversies (some real, some fake). Also includes a two minute piece used to advertise other myspace accounts. A true trip to anyone who likes this kind of music. Flee the Reapers Scythe
Loosely based on the 1938 short Crimes without passion, this second video from A Stoners Dream debut album BIZZZ R takes a look at the netherworld. Starting with a fatal gunshot and ending deep within the depths of hell itself, this video cannot be missed.
Into the beyond
The third and final music video for A Stoners Dream debut album BIZZZ R. This video is a classic clip film with a few added surprises (not to be mentioned here).

Band Members: At the current time, Darrell Wright does all the writing for A STONER'S DREAM™ and various session players are used to create this one of a kind sound. In the future (like Trent Reznor--NIN) we hope to change this.
Influences: Although most artists answer this question with one or two bands, all would be wrong. I believe that everything you have ever heard is an influence to your work. No matter if you liked what you heard or not, it definitely sticks with you.
Sounds Like: An acid trip from hell!!!!
Our sound is constantly evolving. Like Pink Floyd before us, we will become the biggest psychedelic band in the universe.
So some may say we sound like a variation of a ton of different bands including: Queensryche, Tool, Hurt, The Chemical Brothers, Moby, etc. It really depends on where the music takes us. For example "Salvation" reminds some of NIN, while "Flee the Reaper's Scythe" sounds more like Moby or The Chemical Brothers. Either way our first album "BIZZZ R" is a great rave piece. i'ight
