About Me

I am a hispanic, single, young, progressive, political hack. I did the " working for an international non-governmental organization " thing.. then tried working as a " lobbyist "thing... then was a "senior staff for a presidential campaign " thing... then the " starting a national organization " thing... now I am back in DC working for Amnesty International as the Campaign Manager for the Denounce Torture Campaign . I have found my home with Amnesty. I still own a home in Arizona, and will someday be back out that way. But meanwhile I am calling DC my home and travel back to the west side often! For a life, I play around with beer making, wine tasting, geek toys, camping, hiking, and photography. The occasional drunken poker nights with good friends and the random trips to weird places are also a good way to pass up time. However my favorite place to be is at a quaint little pub with a tall glass of Kiltlifter and good company.

My Interests

Wine making, beer making, cooking, coffee, movies, poetry, slam, spoken word, theatre, music, live shows, going to a nearby pub with a good friend and chatting about the human nature for hours.
