Music, plants, politics (on a very limited basis), artsy crafts, finding my calling, growing, healing, laughing (I do a lot of that at random things others dont pick up), being with friends, meeting people...the list goes on and on. We'll continue this conversation another time.
Funny food time:
People who expand me.
Music moves me, all of it. It may sometimes move me in a direction I don't like but it all effects me in some way. I love it and couldn't imagine my life without it!
Albums I can't stop playing...
I love to watch anything that's off-the-wall and quirky but I'm notorious for picking movies that you just stare at the screen saying "seriously?!" In the past few months I've seen Harry Potter, Tristam Shandy, High Fidelity, Ghandi, Ratatouille and No Reservations.
No cable for this lady so I'm rockin' the MTV-tres...YO MAMA! :)
Some of my all time favorite shows have been Deadwood, Sex and the City, Grey's Anatomy, Heroes, Scrubs, Mash, Meet the Torkelsons...
I have reading phases. Right now I'm in the middle of "Disappearance of the Universe" by Gary Renard. During the last phase I discovered the funniest book I've ever read, I almost peed my pants laughing by the second page, "My Horizontal Life" by Chelsea Handler.Other than that I'm a sucker for Harry Potter, Anne Rice...things of that nature. Once in a while I will dive into an oldie but goodie like "Sons and Lovers" by D.H. Lawrence or I'll be girlie and read something by Jane Green.
To be honest, I don't have a hero. My parents are basically good people but they both had flaws I would never want to deal with. Other people in the media all have secrets behind their public faces which is something I don't ever want to keep.So I'm going to say my hero is my higher self because she planned this whole thing for a reason.
