Twang? What kind of name is that! Since I was 7 years old I’ve always been addicted to ROCK!
At that age you can’t drink beer, go to gigs or clubs so I used to go to bed and listen to the radio One Rock Show hosted by Tommy Vance. He would transport me a universe of sonic Worlds every Friday night.Why Twang?Well, it started at school. There I was at the back of the class secretly hiding headphones supplying the likes of Faith No More, Megadeth, Metallica, Mother Love Bone, Soundgarden, Iron Maiden, First four Queen albums, Black Sabbath and an obsession with certain Progressive & epic Rock acts plus anything that I could get my hands on that Rocked. So my class colleagues could hear a faint tinny kaching, kaching noise. Guitar riffs rather than the repetitive pumping fake drum sounds of dance music, which, most of my class were into. They decided to affectionately call me Twang and it’s stuck.To cut a long story short, I do Rock/Metal & Alt Rock clubs in the UK mainly London & the home counties. I strongly believe that the shows should be interactive, basically major parties! I also do a show on the UK’s only true Rock & Metal station Total Rock. You can catch the show wherever you are around this spinning globe every Friday 3.00-6.00pm & every Sunday Noon-3.00pm.
