About Me

WHAT IS PRISON2PRAISE,Prison2Praise is an outreach and educational program, which features real live - life testimonials from three or four individuals (X MEN) who were once career criminals at the top of their game. In one session they all share their story of deliverance from a lifestyle of crime, drugs, substance abuse, sexual promiscuity beyond the norm, and a lifestyle of extreme violence. We have featured X international Drug dealers, X Hit Men, X Psychopathic Thugs, X National Gangsters. X Fraudsters, X Self-Harmers, X Thieves and House Breakers. The event is designed mainly for those involved in gun, knife crime, and the gangster lifestyle. Also concerned parents, community leaders, and anyone who has a heart for their community. We invite members of the civic community, the local police chief, the borough mayor and cross party representatives. The events are covered by the local press, radio and TV.Our aim is to let them hear first hand the testimonials of the individuals, how they came out of the game, the brutal reality of such lifestyles, and the common denominator that saw them step away and stay away from such destructive lifestyles. The evening also features a live DJ, playing upfront positive music that enhances the evening, helps to set the atmosphere and challenges the misconceptions some people hold about church. In conjunction with our partners and the civic community, we have produced a P2P working template that each church, organization or self help group can utilise within their community. We also have a dynamic Prison Programme, Harvesting Men’s Potential, (HMP), which stimulates a lifestyle change in the inmates, particularly those on the verge of release, and challenge’s the “Road Man” mindset from ‘street life’ to ‘New Life’.The world may offer other solutions to gun crime and the other social ills, more money, equal and better opportunities, such well meaning gestures are just a band aid on a cancer riddled, spiritually lost generation, and society. The answer requires a spiritual solution, not found in the hands of mere men.If you would like vision ministries & the prison2praise team of X Men-Women to visit your church, organization, company or community group do contact us:Email: [email protected] Phone: 07910-099011The inspiration behind "Prison to Praise" Vision Ministries is concerned about the recent events in London where the tragedies of the inner city have overtaken our newspapers and TV screens. It would seem that people have abandoned hope, pride and respect for human life.Vision Ministries wants to redress the balance and tackle the negative perception that life may throw at the young, the disadvantaged and the down trodden. We believe that regardless of the challenges in life, there is hope, and a reason to live. This hope can be found through faith in God.With that in mind, we want our youth to hear first hand stories from those who have overcome hurt, prejudice, injustice and crime. Through their faith and personal strength they have become over comers and are reaching back to help those who need to know that there is hope and a better way.Vision Ministries supports that dream, and is committed to finding new strategies to reach and influence the community with this message of hope. We live in a secular minded society that wants to undermine the word and the authenicity of the word, but we have the power and we can help initiate change.
