Elder Tejado W. Hanchell

Elder Tejado W. Hanchell is a native of Nassau, Bahamas. He is the first son born to the union of Bishop Walter Hanchell and Elder Minalee Hanchell. After graduating from St. Augustine's College in the Bahamas, Elder Hanchell was awarded a full scholarship to attend Morgan State University in Baltimore, MD. In May 2000, Elder Hanchell graduated summa cum laude from Morgan State with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology. He has also earned a Master of Science degree in Pastoral Counseling from Loyola College, and a Ph.D (ABD) in Organizational Leadership from Regent University.Elder Hanchell currently serves as the Senior Pastor of the historic Mount Calvary Holy Church in Winston-Salem, NC - The Church Committed to Do MORE. Prior to assuming the pastorate at Mount Calvary, Elder Hanchell served as the Young Adult Pastor of Greater Mount Calvary Holy Church in Washington, DC under the leadership of Bishop Alfred Owens and Co-Pastor Susie Owens.Elder Hanchell is married to Elder Victoria Hanchell who serves as the First Lady and Director of Ministry Operations at Mount Calvary. They are the proud parents of one daughter, Zaria Elizabeth Hanchell.
