2001, due to passion of extreme metal, Bo Fan started "Frozen Moon"-a gothic symphonic black metal band with some friends. Winter, they performed at "tribal people" bar in Shenyang for the first time and were appreciated by audience.
2002, some divergences on their music genre appeared among band members, so Bo Fan quited and formed an industial band "Nothing". The other members found a new singer and performed in a tribute-gig for "Ghostdom" with " The Day of Preaching" and "Suffocation"(chinese). After the gig, "Frozen Moon" disbanded due to the discordance of members.
2003, Bo Fan restored "Frozen Moon" with new band members, and changed the genre into raw black metal with some traditional northern characteristic. In Octobor, they played with "The Day of Preaching" and some underground bands at their hometown -Jinzhou and returned back to stage.
In the end of 2004, released their first album in the band's name "Frozen Moon" by themselves - 100 limited CDR versions, and performed their new songs in the release party.
2006 November, realsed 166 limited DVDs of the "reborn" party and finally decided their genre- northern black metal
