REST IN PEACE
I'm in Pink Floyd since I "borrowed" some old records from my dad. "Dark side of the moon" is still my favorite album, which I'd love to listen 24 hours a day. "Wish you were here" is one of my favs, too.
My page contains more pictures and less words, because there are so many brilliant Pink-Floyd-Tribute pages here on MySpace with the whole band history. So I won't do that again. Besides the music, another trademark were their fantastic shows. I saw them live at the age of 14 and this was the best concert, ever!! The Pulse-Tour is just out of this world!!
Besides Pink Floyd I'm always open for PF-related music, not only cover-bands, rather projects who try to assimilate PF's ghost into their own music (I know, that this is hard to realize!). I think, that the german project Shamall is more than worth to mention here. And of course - Porcupine Tree, especially "The sky moves sideways", "signify" and "lightbulb sun"
Both are some very interesting projects, they have strong PF influences (IMHO), but are still unique.
But of course I'm thankful, that David and Roger are still making music and go on tour. Here are some very special gifts I made...to MYSELF!! simply eternal!!!
So I would like to meet other Pink Floyd fans, fans of psychedelic and progressive rock, also bands with an unique style (no grindcore and no HIP-HOP, please) and anyone who's nice :-))!! SHINE ON MY FRIENDS!! YOU ARE ALWAYS WELCOME!!!!
